Research
Research is an intrinsic part of our approach: we pride ourselves in finding solutions to everyday problems through critical investigation in a wide range of subjects. In the spirit of our ambition to inspire and catalyse change we welcome opportunities to collaborate with others, be it voices within the construction industry or experts outside it. Below are our current research series which are continuous reviewed and expanded.
Bigger Better Cheaper
England has long been known for having some of the smallest, most expensive, and least well-built homes in Europe. We believe it doesn’t have to be this way. Our latest research series explores the state of UK housing through three in-depth chapters, each addressing one of the core challenges shaping our homes today.

This series aims to spark a national conversation about housing design and the spatial needs of modern living. Homes should provide enough room for everyday life — from storage and study to remote work and socialising — while fostering comfort, delight, and a sense of well-being for everyone who lives in them.
Project 500
In a world saturated with words, sources, and data, what constitutes a truly good idea?
This series is not about being an activist or proving a point, but about expressing an idea and analyzing the consequences of a decision: discussing its merits and faults publicly. It's about being concise in 500 words and in tune with the world we live in, addressing our issues in a healthy and proactive manner.
Nothing is final, and nothing should be taken personally, but everything is open for discussion.
Thames Riverside
The River Thames has been a lifeblood, shaping the financial, cultural, and physical essence of London.
Inspired by its significance, in this series we embark on an extraordinary journey to walk the entire stretch of the GLA section of the River Thames, exploring both sides of the river.
Beginning on the south bank in Bexley, we travel up to Kingston upon Thames crossing the river to conclude our adventure in Havering. During this period we will be recording our journey through photography and maps.
Young Architects & Developers Alliance (YADA)
Great things happen when we work together: when we engage with ideas and each other. In autumn 2016 Gareth Price helped property developer Martyn Evans and Jane Duncan, President of the RIBA at the time to create YADA, a networking community for young architects and developers to meet regularly, to get to know each other and talk.

Through simple conversation, we can gain an insight into our opposite disciplines’ motivations and challenges, and ultimately make a positive change as to how we operate and deliver better designed, commercially successful developments.
